Sports are important to our community, particularly water sports, well catered for at the Club Nautico.
The port of Moraira is one of the best and most frequented of all the marinas in the Valencian Community. Year after year it receives the blue flag of the European Comunity. Its 620 moorings attract considerable social activity, taking advantage of the club, restaurants and shops. The Club Nautico organises yacht races and competitions, the most important being the Regata de Altura, Moraira to Santa Eulalia, at the end of September.
The services provided by the Club Nautico include water and electricity at each mooring, 24 hour surveillance,a crane, travelift, launching ramps and workshops.
Furthermore other water sports are available, such as underwater diving, jet skis, and windsurfing.
Within the municipality available sports include go-karting, tennis, mini golf, handball, volleyball, badminton, basketball, football, fronton and swimming. |
