Festivity in honour of "La Virgen del Carmen"

11.15h Collection of the Festeras accompanied by the band "El Bataclán de Xaló".
12.00h Mass in honour of the "Virgen del Carmen", sung by Teulada's choir.
Followed by the traditional kilometrical long and finishing at the Castle where a spectacular "Mascletà" will go off by Pyrotechnics V.Caballer.
13.30h In the port traditional "Soaped Pole"- who can reach the chicken first!
We encourage all the young to participate in this competition.
18.00h Wake up from you siesta!! Parade of the Festeros 2010 with the band "El Bataclán de Xaló".
19.45h Collection of the Festeras.
20.30h Solemn procession by town and sea (weather permitting) in honour of the "Virgen del Carmen" accompanied by the band of Xaló and the musical group of Teulada.
Following a fabulous aquatic firework display by Pyrotechnic V. Caballer.
00.00h Starting with a bang! Sensational night with the band CRASH. At the break an official presentation of the Moraira committee of Fiestas 2011 will be made.

Day of the "Peñas"
10.00h Mass for the deceased of the parish.
11.00h Brunch for everyone in the square Virgen del Carmen.
18.00h VII Edition of the Moraira Urban mile.
21.00h Dinner of the "peñas" and committee's in Calle Doctor Calatayud.
23.00h Not to be missed the great "Correfoc" through the streets of Moraira. Act sponsored by Bancaja. It will be followed, everyone dance to the band PLATINO!
